On The Fly Bottle Warmer Review

6:00 AM Posted by Deanna

I have always been an on-the-go person. It was so easy to travel before motherhood, and now that I have an adorable son (see right sidebar), the only thing that has changed is the simplicity of it all. My husband travels a lot for work, so me and the little man travel with him sometimes.

MJ was a breast fed baby at first, then switched to formula. I had many problems with providing warm milk while we were out. I have been stuck at the mall, on a plane, and even in the doctors office with no place to warm my sons milk. I used to sit with the bottle between my thighs for several minutes in hopes to warm it a little. Side Note: hungry infant + small plane= DISASTER! There is finally an answer to this madness...

I have been introduced to a new, chic bottle warmer. Perfect for travel, the On the Fly bottle warmer is non-electrical and virtually hassle free. Whether you are at work, at play, or running errands, this bottle warmer is sure to please. A simple solution for moms and dads on the go.

I was delighted when Lauren from On the Fly sent me one of their new bottle warmers to try out. This is definitely a great idea for all you traveling moms! [Where were you when my son was born?] Here's my first run at it:

I opened the box and found the following items: The Small On The Fly Starter Kit, which includes the bottle sock for 4 oz. bottles and 5 individually wrapped warmers.

Place the bottle into the bottle sock.

Fold the top layer of the sock upward (inside out) and above the bottle.

Take one of the warmers out of its package, remove the adhesive stickies and wrap the warmer around the bottle sock, sticking the "stickies" to the sock and warmer to hold it in place. The warmer will begin to heat as soon as it is removed from the package and hits the air.

Pull the top layer back down over the warmer, adjust the bottle sock as necessary, and VOILA!

BUY IT! Check out Ontheflybottle.com and browse their site to learn more. You can get the Small Starter Kit for 4 oz. bottles, or the Larger Starter Kit for 8-11 oz. bottles.

It takes about 30 minutes for the warmer to heat the bottle to its desired temperature. One of the best things is that it lasts for about 8 hours, so it can actually heat multiple bottles as necessary throughout the day! I am so jealous that all you mothers out there with babies have this option. I would have loved it! Maybe when baby #2 comes for me and the Mr... Not anytime soon!

I love those, when Sevyn was bottlefed, I kinda ghetto rigged some hand warmers [like for snow] inside of a bottle glove to do the same thing. Awesome company and review!

I tried one of these yesterday and it absolutely did not work for me. I followed the directions exactly and it never got very warm or warmed my bottle. Bummer.
