The holidays are creeping up pretty quickly and I have not even thought about our holiday plans yet! Ahhhh!! I am usually so on it. Well, thank goodness for this great contest celebrating the premiere of Dora’s Christmas Carol, it’s got me thinking! I have decided to join Nickelodeon and TwitterMoms as we share our favorite holiday activities we like to do with our kids! My favorite 5 holiday activities to do with my son are as follows:

• I love going to the Christmas Tree farm and picking out a tree as a family. The smell of the pine needles is reminiscent of Christmas.
• Who doesn’t love decorating the tree?? It is extra special because MJ gets to choose which ornaments go where and put on the tree topper for the ultimate finale.
• Going shopping for dad’s gift. No matter what MJ picks, it is sure to please!
• Attending the Christmas Day parade! There is always a local parade that we love going to.
• Waking up on Christmas morning and opening gifts with the family. Then having breakfast and watching Christmas movies and shows on TV. Classics!
