So Quiznos Doesn't Accept Black and White Printed Coupons??

7:07 AM Posted by Deanna - Mommygaga

Imagine my surprise when my coupons were turned down last night at my local Quiznos. Why? Not because they were expired, and not because I purchased the wrong item. It was because they were printed in Black and White. Are you kidding me?

I am signed up with the Quiznos eclub and they send printable coupons all the time. I had one for half off of a 2 for $5 combo, and another for $2 off of a large sub. The lady told me that they are not to accept black and white coupons and she showed me a "mailer" coupon as an example of what it is supposed to look like... She somehow did not understand that I received an email from Quiznos Corporate, not a mailer. She also claimed that it was due to coupon copying issues. Well, I can take any document, color or not, and make a darn good copy, so this is an invalid claim.

Why send out promotional emails with coupons if you are not going to accept them? Don't you want to increase your business volume and customer base? So I am assuming that all people with out color printers have no chance at these? I have never had a problem using these in the past, so why now?

Well, I wasn't so upset about the fact that I had to spend a couple more dollars than expected, it is the principal of the whole thing. If you cannot accept black and white email coupons, clearly state in the email that they must be printed in color. Or better yet, don't send them out at all. Stick to the mailers.

My rant is over, thanks for listening!

I'd shoot the corporate office an e-mail just to let them know. Chances are they'll make up for it. How ridiculous. The dumb thing is issues like that are happening all of the time. Customer service just 'ain't what it used to be.'
