I am delighted to bring you all a cake review from Bake Me A Wish! If you have not heard of them, they are a company that offers gourmet cakes for all occasions. Surprise your loved ones, co-workers, and friends with a decadent cake on their special day. Choose from original cakes, coffee cakes and even brownie cakes. Bake Me A Wish is a New York based bakery that uses the finest and freshest ingredients in all of their products and has a variety of delicious flavors with a gourmet flair.
I received the Chocolate Mousse Torte Cake to review. It was absolutely amazing! I am an extreme chocolate lover, so this was an excellent surprise. This moist chocolate cake was layered with chocolate mousse, covered in chocolate frosting and a dark chocolate glaze. There were chocolate rosettes on each slice and an edible belgian chocolate “Thank You” plaque was right on top. It came in refrigerated packaging and was ready to eat! We waited, we had not eaten dinner yet…
True Story: I received my cake as fresh as can be and instructed my family not to open the box until I got home since it was for a review. They agreed, so I was able to open the box later and slide the cake in the refrigerator. When it was time to take photos and dig in, half of it was already gone! Maybe I should have left “DO NOT TOUCH” notes? Threatened violence? Put on some kind of alarm or trap? Ugh!
The cake was truly amazing and it’s decadence made me want to place an order for another! I am dying to try these:
