The Rocker Napper is a little basinet that converts quickly and easily from a flat napper to a seat with two different positions depending on how high you want your baby to sit up. It also has a cute mobile that plays music and lights up with colorful hanging toys for the baby to swat and grab. Plus, there is a vibration function to soothe your baby while he’s sleeping. 

The base of the Rocker Napper is rounded so that it can gently rock back and forth. Now, I do have to say that the rocking motion is not great if you are trying to actively rock your baby. It does rock, but it tends move across the floor so the rocking motion is uneven. The base could use some non-slip coating so it doesn’t slide on hardwood or low-pile carpet. That being said, I have discovered that while Avery is napping with the vibration feature on, the Rocker Napper very gently rocks itself, providing just enough comforting motion to help him stay asleep. The Rocker Napper was easy to put together. There is an assembly video you can watch online, and it only took about 10 minutes for my husband to get it set up. The one design flaw seems to be the placement of the tags—you know, those big warning tags that tell you not to place the Rocker on high surfaces, etc. There are two very big ones that are sewn awkwardly into the foot end of the basinet. We ended up cutting them off because they were in the way, which I think defeats the whole purpose of the warning labels. But otherwise, it’s well designed and made of quality materials that seem durable.

 

Avery loves the lights and music on the mobile. The first time we put him in it he started smiling and trying to whack the toys. Now he gets upset when the music automatically shuts off after a while, and I have to go restart it for him. He also enjoys the vibration feature. It seems to help soothe him whether he’s sleeping or playing in the Rocker Napper. If he falls asleep while sitting up, it’s very easy to use the simple handle behind the napper to lie it down without waking him. Yesterday, he even took a 3 hour nap in it!

On the whole, I think the Tiny Love 3-in-1 Rocker Napper is a great alternative to bouncers or swings. The multiple positions make it more functional than many baby seats or bouncers. I only wish it had one more seat level to sit up just a bit higher, as I think it would extend the useable life to older babies and toddlers. But the fact that it soothes and entertains even my finicky little guy so I can give some one-on-one attention to my two year old makes it a keeper!
