Did you know that 1 in 5 children go without breakfast each morning?

I’m sure you’ve heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Since it’s National Breakfast week, I think it is important to highlight this. How can these children get a great start to their day without the most important meal?

I am happy to be partnering with Kellogg’s in a great initiative to bring food to every child’s table. With the Share Breakfast program, people like us can help. That’s right, users of social media can watch video, share, tweet and pin with the #ShareBreakfast hashtag to trigger a breakfast donation from Kellogg’s! C’mon, you know you spend time on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest, so why not take a split second to Share Breakfast?

Kellogg’s has a goal of hitting 1 million shares. When you participate, you will help increase a child’s potential, provide essential nutrients, and the child will have more energy and focus to round out their day. The infographic below outlines just how…

How can I Share Breakfast?

There are plenty of ways to share breakfast with a child in need…

Easy Tweet:

With this tweet, I fed a child’s potential with one breakfast from @Kelloggs. You can help a child in need, too: sharebreakfast.com #sharebreakfast

Easy Facebook Share:

I shared breakfast with a child in need. Will you? http://www.kelloggs.com/en_US/share-breakfast.html

Watch a video. When you do, you’ve shared a breakfast! There are quite a few… Share Breakfast PSA, or the Bilingual version, and a few different Share Breakfast videos at elementary schools: Hodge Elementary, Cypress Elementary, and the bilingual version.

What’s more exciting than sharing breakfast with a child in need? How about a personal “thank you” from celebrity father Taye Diggs for participating in the Share Breakfast campaign?! Uh, YEA!

Please help feed our children. Because if we don’t, who will? No money out of your pocket, it’s as simple as a social media share, so Tweet your hearts out, people! Visit ShareBreakfast.com for more information.

I think this is a great program its sad that 1-5 children in America go hungry that should not be happening in america there is more than enough to go around for every one.
