Play {Tee} Ball! …and Why We have No Life

Since when does having children mean having no social life? I have totally been feeling that way lately, I know that we do have a social life, but baseball season sucks the life right out of us! We’ve been spending our Saturdays and occasional Sundays at the baseball fields. Not only weekends, but some weeknight are held for practices and team meetings. Ugh. Although we no longer have a normal adult life on weekends, I must admit that when we get to the field, I want nothing more than to cheer my son and his team on. One of the most awesome things about parenting is to watch our offspring grow and thrive. Baseball does it for him. Just a few photos…

So, we’ve cast our wants and some of our needs aside. Isn’t that a part of good parenting? He’s having a blast, so i’d like to think that we’re doing something right. When May comes around, we’ll be able to breathe again. Until then, we can relish in the {hot} sun and in MJ’s fun.

  2. My son is 3 and will probably start playing sports this summer! My husband has been waiting for this moment his whole life lol. While I know it s going to drive me crazy going to games every week ( I grew up with 3 brothers I spent my summers on the baseball fields) I know my baby is going to ave the time of his life!

  4. My 12 year old has been playing since he was four and just wait. His last year in Little League, his dad is coaching, I’m on the board of directors, practice twice a week 445-7pm, 2-3 games a week (2 hours each), scorekeeping duty, board meetings, oh and then there’s travel ball! LOL Plus my two daughters dance 3 nights a week…there’s always time for yourself when they’re 20…lol
